A Family

This shoot was done just last week down at the Kaleidoscope Mall in downtown Des Moines.  I've known Angie for a long time but just recently got back in touch with her when she contacted me for family pictures.  These two boys were adorable.  They kept coming over and looking at the LCD on the camera and wanted to learn to take pictures.  It ended up working great as a bribe to get them to sit still.  :)

J Maternity Pics

This might be the most adorable couple I've ever met.  I work with Chris and he and his wife are expecting a little girl in February.  I couldn't be more excited for them.  It was so cute watching them interact . . . he is so amazingly loving and doting towards her.  And she is one of the cutest pregnant women ever.  They're going to make great parents.  Good luck you two!  Can't wait to meet little J!

Malcolm

This guy was a lot of fun to shoot.  These pics were for his portfolio . . . he's an actor and model so it posed a challenge for me as I've never done a shoot for a portfolio.  I spent lots of time researching so I would be prepared when I went in but turns out Malcolm did it all for me!  He was so great at posing and we had fun together thinking of new poses too. 

H Family

Love, love, love this family!!  Nicole and I have been friends for ages . . . we've done just about everything together too . . . from jumping out of an airplane together to getting engaged at the same time to getting pregnant within days of each other.  She is an amazing person and has an amazing family.  I'm very lucky to be able to capture the special moments for her.

It was a very cold day in early November when we took these pics.  We went out to Greenwood Park as that is one of my favorite places to shoot.  She didn't think we'd get any good shots because the kids were being, well, kids but I told her to have faith.  And the ones below prove her wrong.  :)


Katrese

I had so much fun on this shoot.  This is Katrese.  She is a fun-loving, high-spirited girl who loved posing for the camera.  I took these out at Water Works on a cold, late October morning.  The foliage was GORGEOUS . . . I'm so glad we decided to go there!! 


Katrese is a senior this year and really looking forward to graduation.  I wish you luck, Katrese as you move to the next chapter in your life!



Q Family

I've been sooo bad at blogging.  The Christmas season is fast approaching and I've been very busy with photo shoots, shopping, and getting ready for visiting family.  I forget how busy the holiday season can get!!

These pics are from a shoot I did back in October.  Dallas has been a good friend of mine for the past couple years and I've had a great time watching her little boys grow up.  Below are my favs.

Crandell Family

What an absolutely adorable family the Crandell's are!!  It was so much fun taking their pictures . . . and so much fun seeing the personality differences in their kids!  Their son is definitely goofy and had a great time playing around during the shoot.  I loved it!  He gave me so many great opportunities for candid shots (which are my favorite) so it worked out great.  Their daughter is calm and quiet and just took everything in.  I got her to smile a couple times . . . the pic below is at the top of my favorites.  Enjoy!


Ethan S

Little Ethan is now almost 2 months old . . . I can't believe that time has gone by so quickly.  He's growing like a weed and really starting to fill out.  His hair is still bright red and I hope it stays that way!!  This first picture is my favorite . . . a face I see him make more and more as he gets older.  Maybe he's saying, "Aunt Taunie, get that camera out of my face!!"

Williams Family

The Williams family have been friends of my husband and me for a long time.  I've had the great pleasure of watching their little ones grow up and blossom into wonderful children.  I had so much fun taking their family pics as we don't get to see each other as often as we would like with our busy schedules!!  Here are a few of my favorites . . .
