Crandell Family

What an absolutely adorable family the Crandell's are!!  It was so much fun taking their pictures . . . and so much fun seeing the personality differences in their kids!  Their son is definitely goofy and had a great time playing around during the shoot.  I loved it!  He gave me so many great opportunities for candid shots (which are my favorite) so it worked out great.  Their daughter is calm and quiet and just took everything in.  I got her to smile a couple times . . . the pic below is at the top of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Ethan S

Little Ethan is now almost 2 months old . . . I can't believe that time has gone by so quickly.  He's growing like a weed and really starting to fill out.  His hair is still bright red and I hope it stays that way!!  This first picture is my favorite . . . a face I see him make more and more as he gets older.  Maybe he's saying, "Aunt Taunie, get that camera out of my face!!"

Williams Family

The Williams family have been friends of my husband and me for a long time.  I've had the great pleasure of watching their little ones grow up and blossom into wonderful children.  I had so much fun taking their family pics as we don't get to see each other as often as we would like with our busy schedules!!  Here are a few of my favorites . . .

Codi S

I've known the Sehman family for a long time . . . and have know Codi since she was just a little kid running around the farm so when her mom asked me to take some pictures of her, I was excited to get to see her all grown up.  Now she's as tall as her mom and just a gorgeous girl!!  And what a good head she has on her shoulders . . . her mom and dad are very proud!!  It was really cute as she was texting her new boyfriend throughout the shoot and I had to keep telling her to put the phone down!  :)

Casey J (now M!)

Yay!!  I can finally post these pics.  My dear friend, Casey, got married on October 16th.  I wasn't fortunate enough to attend the wedding as it didn't work out with my schedule but I was grateful she asked me to take her bridal portraits.  She looked absolutely stunning in her gown!!  I loved the idea of going somewhere that looked old and open . . . her gown was so classy and elegant that I thought the contrast of the open grassy area and the old rusty bridge would make her stand out even more (if that was even possible).  Congratulations Casey + Justin!!

Lots of updates . . .

I've been really really bad about blogging.  I have found that it is starting to take longer and longer to get photos edited and uploaded.  This coming weekend is the first weekend in a long time that I haven't had a photo shoot and I'm looking forward to getting caught up on blogging, editing, and working on my website.  So I'm going to overwhelm you here and post a ton of blog entries covering some of the shoots I've done in October.

First up is Miss Ellie.  This little girl is too cute for words.  I've known her mom for over 10 years and have had so much fun getting to know her adorable kids.  We took these out at Greenwood Park and it took a minute for Ellie to warm up to the idea of me snapping pictures of her but once she did she was a total ham!!

My nephew is born!

Yay!  I have a new little nephew!  My sister gave birth to little Ethan James on Saturday, September 3, 3 days before her birthday!  What a great birthday gift!  He is such a peanut . . . weighed only 4 lbs 10 oz.  I just love him so much and so does his cousin!  Katie can't get enough of him!!  Congratulations, Michelle and Jim!!
