Last weekend I had the great pleasure of taking my friend's son's 1 yr pics. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. We met out at Water Works early Sunday morning and I could tell Ben was not feeling it. It wasn't until the last minute that he smiled for me. But I LOVE how he is such a mama's boy. It just melts my heart to see how much he loves his mama!!! Below are some of my favs.

the state fair, fishing and other fun times
I've been horrible about blogging . . . lots of pictures have been taken and I've been working on my website. Below are a few from the last few weeks including our days spent at the fair, down at the cabin, little Ben H.'s 1 year birthday party, and a day fishing down at Sun Valley. Enjoy!!

Updates . . .
I've been really bad about blogging lately . . . mostly because I've been busy with shoots and trying to enjoy the last bit of summer. But I wanted to get some pics posted from the shoots I've done over the past couple weeks. Below are some additional ones I got with my sister. You can see the entire album here. Baby Ethan is going to be here in no time and we are all eagerly awaiting his arrival. And you know as soon as he arrives, I will have lots of baby pics to post.
These next few are from a shoot I did with my previous boss' daughter. She is expecting a son and is due a couple days apart from my sister. They were awesome to work with . . . the chemistry between the two of them was great and it's always fun working with soon-to-be moms as they are glowing with excitement for the arrival of their wee one. Below are a few of my favs.
Now this shoot below was probably one of my favorites. This was my first senior photo shoot and this girl was AWESOME. You can check out all of her pics here. I used to work with her mom and was so lucky they asked me to take her photos. Talk about easy to photograph . . . she just moved and "click" . . . every movement was a good picture. Kaylee, I wish you the best of luck in your life, doll. You deserve it!!

Preggo bellies, a kick-ass music show, and butterflies
Another busy weekend has gone by too fast. I had the great pleasure of taking my sister's maternity pics. I have another maternity shoot this weekend so it was awesome to get some practice in. Her little boy, Ethan, is due September 20th. We tried a bunch of different poses and outfits but my favorite is the one with the teddy bear.
I also was very honored to be asked to take some live performance pics for a local band, MC Wrenn & The White Chocolates. I did their promo shoot and was really excited to do some live ones. The first band on was Cleo's Apartment and they were exceptional. Great vocals and killer sound. Lots of different instruments were used. MC Wrenn went on after and it was great to see the crowd so amped up. They were awesome. If you haven't seen them live already, make sure to check out their Facebook page and look for upcoming shows. You won't be disappointed.
We also made a trip to Reiman Gardens and spent the morning looking at butterflies and walking around the beautiful garden. Katie had a blast, as she always does. The butterflies were a lot more active this time we went. And Katie stayed far away from the indoor pond. :)
Out of the 1000 or more pics I took, these are my favs. Enjoy :)
